I thought it was time to add a sense of closure to this. I was young and naive and immature when I started this account, and now i've grown in to something better I hope. I finished 6th form today, and i'm off to university in the autumn, so it seems like an appropriate time. I won't be posting here any more, but i'll leave my things up for old times sake (and so that in 10 years I can look back and laugh). Why is there still no cure? A really close friend's mum was diagnosed with cancer last year. We've basically grown up together, our parents have known each other since uni, so it goes so far back. They thought that the the cancer was cured and they were so happy. But last week she went in for a cough that she'd had, and they told her that the cancer had come back, and spread. And now she has six months left. six months. there should have been years more. And my friend is only fifteen - to loose his mum. It's heartbreaking. Things are never going to be the same again.
